Once you decide that you would like to schedule a session, we'll start the ball rolling on timing, attire, location, etc etc.  We'll begin by setting up an appointment at my home in Lynden - and by appointment, I really mean a coffee and chit-chat and perhaps bring your kiddos to play with my kiddos sort of visit.  Come prepared to try on dresses.  I have several gowns that range in colors, styles and sizes.  If you decide that you would like a new gown for your session, the majority of my gowns come from Sew Trendy Accessories and can be purchased with a 20% off discount by creating an account from my link.  As part of our planning, expect to start looking at shoot dates and locations.  We'll address what to bring, what to wear (including undergarments), and more small details in relation to the shoot.

Your photo session should take place around 29-34 weeks.   Plan to bring snacks and water so you don't get hungry or dehydrated.   While I'm on a shoot I tend to forget about things like food and bathroom breaks, so be sure to let me know what you need when you need it.  Most of the gowns are long enough that I find my clients can wear comfortable shoes (yes, I've shot a client wearing Uggs in a gown and you'd never know!).  If at any time you need to take a break, we will.  If you're uncomfortable, let me know.  Need to elevate your feet for a bit?  No problem.  I want this to be relaxing and fun, and especially don't want you to go into labor!

After your session

I aim to provide a proofing gallery within 2 weeks of our shoot where you get to choose which images you want fully edited.   The proof images will be narrowed down and will have been corrected for color/lighting only.  Once you have your gallery you will "favorite" your images - any images beyond what your session includes are $15/image or 10 images for $125.  Once you're ready, and any additional payments have been made, I'll begin work on the full edit of your images which can take up to 3 weeks.  Your pictures are delivered digitally through an online, password protected gallery where you can then download them, as well as an offline mobile gallery to add to your device and share.    You're under no obligation to purchase prints through me, however you'll be more satisfied with the quality, color, and longevity of the professional prints.  Not all printers are alike and I've found very poor color quality with many of the publicly accessible printers.   If you do choose to order your prints through me, everything is built into your gallery for ease - you can even pay securely online and have your purchase shipped directly to you!
